Unveiled at the Union Buildings in Pretoria on 16 December 2013, the 9-meter bronze statue of Nelson Mandela stands as a tribute to the father of South Africa’s democracy.
The Union Buildings, once a symbol of apartheid, now represent the triumph of freedom and unity.
