The Human Rights Festival Day 2 : 21 March 2025

The Human Rights Festival will kick off with its opening activation called a “1000 DRUMS FOR HUMANITY”. This activation will invite 1000 members of the public to come and join and drumming session as sign of solidarity to stand with the people in different parts of the world who are experiencing human rights violations.

The day will continue and feature the below the below activities.

The Activism Row:

The festival provides a safe space where the work of social justice organizations can be recognised and celebrated, and where people can come together to learn about and support human rights activism. These organisations will profile multiple causes in their respective areas of social justice through workshops; dialogues and debates bringing experts together to inform and engage with the public. Activism Row will be curated to facilitate networking and collaboration opportunities for civil society organisations allowing them to connect and engage with other grassroots and national organisations working in the human rights arena.
