The Gauteng Tourism Authority (GTA) has successfully showcased the province’s premier business tourism offerings at Meetings Africa 2025, which concludes today at the Sandton Convention Centre. As a key player in the global meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) sector, GTA—through the Gauteng Convention & Events Bureau (GCEB)—has engaged with local and international delegates at Stand D2, reinforcing Gauteng’s status as a world-class destination for business events.

Gauteng: Africa’s Business Tourism Powerhouse

Gauteng, the economic hub of South Africa, continues to position itself as a top destination for business events. With cutting-edge conference venues, luxurious accommodation, seamless transport infrastructure, and diverse tourism experiences, the province remains a preferred gateway for international investors, industry leaders, and event planners.

The Gauteng Convention & Events Bureau (GCEB) played a pivotal role in promoting Gauteng as a competitive MICE destination by offering event support, bid assistance, and access to key industry networks.
