Led by entrepreneur Josephine Katumba, the Alex Unpacked – Stories & Solutions walk will take visitors into the heart of Johannesburg’s oldest township, Alexandra, exploring community-embedded outlets created by Gcwalisa that tackle food insecurity, unemployment, and plastic waste. Alongside visiting local spazas, eateries, Alexandra High School, the Alex Museum, and Nelson Mandela’s first Joburg home, participants will connect with community anchors and youth entrepreneurs.
