Weekend Celebrations and the WeThePeople Walk

Transitioning into the weekend, the energy rises with live music and community action. On Saturday, 28 March, the Friends of Blanco – Daytime Freshers Festival features headliner Kelvin Momo, with proceeds supporting student tuition fees.

Finally, the festival culminates on Sunday, 29 March, with the WeThePeople Walk and Fit City Run. Participants can choose between 5km and 10km routes through the streets of Johannesburg. After the walk, stay for the Gauteng Curated Makers Market to support local artisans and enjoy live poetry.
