Celebrate Heritage Day with an exciting Trail Run and Walk event at The Big Red Barn Trails, located at 7 Nelson Drive, Sunlawns AH, Olifantsfontein. Whether a seasoned runner or a family participant, this event offers distances to suit everyone: 2km, 5km, 10km, 15km, and 21km.

The event is pet-friendly, making it a fantastic day out for the whole family, including furry friends. Registration opens early at 06:30, with the race starting at 07:00. Participants can start anytime between 07:00 and 08:00 except for the 15km and 21km distances, which must begin by 07:00. All distances must be completed by the 11:00 cut-off time.

The race features marked routes, water tables along the trails, finisher medals, and parking facilities. Food and drinks will be available at The Red Barn Restaurant on-site. The event encourages a “Make a Difference” campaign where runners can choose to donate their medal’s cost to support animal shelters.

Entry fees vary by distance and age category, with discounts for children under 13 and seniors over 60.
