Join us this Sunday, the 16th of March at 12h00 for the exhibition opening of Imagine A.I for Dignity – Feminine Visions for Regeneration at the Cool Room Complex.

Imagine AI for Dignity—Feminine Visions for Regeneration explores the intersection of artificial intelligence, digital humanism, democracy, and ecology in a time of rapid technological change and ecological urgency. Drawing on critical posthumanist thought, the exhibition envisions “regeneration” in the context of contemporary technologies, challenging dominant global narratives.

Initiated by the Cultural Forum at the Austrian Embassy Pretoria / BMEIA, this exhibition fosters dialogue and exchange, presenting Austrian artistic perspectives alongside South African audiences. Through diverse artistic visions, it questions the societal and technological transformations needed for a more just and sustainable future.

The exhibition will come to life with a special performance by Tubatsi Moloi at 13h00 at the NIROX Lawn Pavilion. His music will set the tone, creating a rich, atmospheric backdrop for the artworks and conversations unfolding throughout the day.

These conversations will continue with a public workshop being held at the Residency, starting at 14h00. Facilitated by exhibition curators, Claudia Larcher & Eva Fischer, the session will engage with the topic of A.I through artistic practice, opening discourses on the ethical dimensions of technology, digital human rights, and responsible A.I development.
